How the GMAT Tutorials Work
Phone ConsultationWe begin with a phone call to discuss your goals, your strengths and weaknesses, and your schedule so that we can develop a study plan. If you wish, we can meet at my online web-conferencing site so I can show you my study materials and give you a better idea of how the online environment works. This meeting will also give you an opportunity to ask questions and determine whether I'm the right tutor for you. There is no charge for this consultation. Online TutorialsTutorial sessions are conducted online via a popular web-conferencing site called GoToMeeting. Here, an audio connection allows us to discuss materials, and a shared whiteboard lets us examine and annotate learning materials. You can even capture onscreen notes to study later. It's pretty much the same as face-to-face tutoring but more convenient. As we work through concepts, I will constantly assess your skills and tailor my instruction to capitalize on your strengths and to build necessary skills. Following each session I will provide you with topic-specific homework to help reinforce the concepts covered during that session. MaterialsI have created comprehensive study materials to help you prepare. They include a 184-page student workbook, advanced questions, and quizzes. These serve as a valuable resource while preparing for your test. During our sessions, we will also use GMAC's Official Guide for GMAT Review, so I encourage you to get a copy.
RateMy hourly rate is $95 (USD) or $95 (CAD). Please note: this rate is considerably less than the rates charged by the major test-preparation companies. I prefer payment through PayPal.
To get started, please send me an email today, so that we can arrange a time to speak on the phone.
